Key Purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Garment Technology is responsible for meeting all Technical, Fit, and Construction KPIs for their assigned customer category. This role acts as a vital bridge, collaborating with customer/buying house technical teams and internal stakeholders to manage style clarifications, development risk assessments, construction validation, pattern making, consumption costing, sample approvals, and seamless production handovers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution: Plan and deploy comprehensive Technical, Fit, and Construction objectives.
Product Development: Drive the technical aspects of product development, including risk assessments, construction validation, pattern development, consumption costing, and sample approvals.
Production Integration: Ensure smooth, efficient production handovers that meet all integration objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams and external clients to achieve functional KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Clothing Technology.
Experience: 6 to 9+ years of experience in Product Development, with deep exposure to technical fit, construction concepts, and industry best practices.
