Procurement Executive (Colombo)

Description
• Source, negotiate and purchase goods and services required for business operations.
• Raise purchase orders accurately and promptly in the ERP system, review quotations and
manage procurement documentation.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries and cost effective solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative solutions for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
• Ensure that procurement processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Support in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of import and export procedures would be an added advantage.
