- Level 5 Extended Diploma: From a recognised awarding body (such as SLIATE, BTEC, ATHE, OTHM, NIBM, Qualifi, ABE).
- Advanced Diploma/Professional Qualification: SQA Advanced Diploma, BCS Diploma, NCC Level 5 Diploma, or equivalent standing.
- Academic Standing: Successful completion of 240 academic credits on a relevant university degree.
- Other: Any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Senate.
