Key Purpose of the Job

As a Graduate Trainee in Sourcing & Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in the supply chain lifecycle. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that all raw material requirements for customer orders are procured efficiently, on time, and at the best optimal price to maximize profitability. You will also safeguard the on-time delivery of bulk orders by meticulously monitoring order progress and proactively initiating corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

Material Fulfillment: Ensure seamless production continuity by managing and fulfilling all raw material requirements on time.
Timeline & Inventory Management: Strictly follow the established Time and Action (T&A) plans to achieve 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) on garment shipments.
Efficiency Optimization: Focus on strategic inventory optimization and the active reduction of raw material write-offs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster effective, professional liaisons with internal and external cross-functional teams while building lasting, trust-based relationships with international customers.
Data & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital records of all sourcing activities, procurement metrics, and supplier performance evaluations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.
Experience: Prior experience or an internship within procurement, supply chain management, or the apparel manufacturing sector is an added advantage (but fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
Language Proficiency: Excellent fluency in written and spoken English communication is essential for interacting with global teams and customers.
