Executive – HR

Executive – HR | Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka

We are looking for a proactive HR Executive to join our team in Dankotuwa. In this role, you will bridge the gap between management and our workforce, ensuring smooth operations through effective people management and administrative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Liaison: Work closely with the HR Manager and Plant Manager to align HR initiatives with operational goals.

• Employee Relations: Foster an open-door culture where employees feel heard and supported.

• Data Management: Utilize HRIS systems to generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports for informed decision-making.

• Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of local labor laws to ensure all practices remain compliant.

• Talent Development: Oversee performance appraisals and facilitate career progression discussions.

• Recruitment: Lead recruitment drives and “camps” to fill vacancies swiftly and minimize operational downtime.

• Payroll Administration: Ensure the timely and accurate processing of salaries and wages for both office staff and factory workers.

Candidate Profile

• Education: A Higher Diploma in HRM or a relevant degree from a recognized university.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role (preferably within a manufacturing or plant setting).

• Academic Foundation: Minimum of 2 Credit passes in English and Mathematics at GCE O/Ls, and 2 passes at GCE A/Ls.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with HRIS software.

• Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, educate, and connect with stakeholders at all levels.

• Location: Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Dankotuwa.
