The Role

Reporting to the Zonal Head, you will be responsible for driving regional KPIs and ensuring the effective, high-performance functioning of the Bancassurance team.

Principal Accountabilities

• Performance Leadership: Drive the team to achieve regional targets while maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders and bank partners.

• Operational Excellence: Execute management decisions according to company standards within established timelines.

• Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong partnerships with the bank’s regional business leaders and key personnel through regular meetings and strategic communication.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to customer service standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Team Development: Motivate, train, and coach Bancassurance Supervisory Staff and Relationship Officers, ensuring they follow the company code of conduct and market guidelines.

• Reporting: Prepare and analyze consolidated performance reports for senior management review.

Requirements

• Education: Full or part qualification in Marketing from a recognized institute (CIM/SLIM preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 5–6 years in sales, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Previous experience in Life Insurance or Bancassurance is a significant advantage.

• Communication: Excellent command of English and Sinhala (proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage).

• Competencies: Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

• Attributes: A highly ambitious, dynamic, and result-oriented individual capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
