Area Sales Manager | Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (Elephant House)
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), the manufacturer behind the iconic Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams, is a premier consumer food company in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
We are currently seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Ice Cream Sales Team. In this role, you will lead a team of Sales Supervisors and manage regional infrastructure and operations to ensure the seamless execution of brand objectives and category growth.
Key Responsibilities

Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets for the assigned territory.

Strategic Execution: Drive the implementation of company sales plans, seasonal promotions, and trade initiatives.

Distributor Management: Oversee and optimize distributor operations to ensure supply chain efficiency.

Leadership: Direct and mentor company Sales Supervisors and distributor sales teams to high performance.

In-Store Excellence: Ensure premium execution of product displays, visibility, and promotional standards at the retail level.

Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and performance analytics in a timely manner.
Person Specifications

Education: GCE O/L with Credit passes in Mathematics and English.

Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of distribution dynamics, salesmanship, and specific trade systems.

FMCG Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the FMCG sector is highly advantageous.

Language Skills: Proficiency in Sinhala, Tamil, and English is a distinct plus.

Core Competencies: Strong grasp of customer requirements and the ability to navigate complex distribution networks.
