Intern ‐ Merchandising
(BASED AT MAS ACTIVEWEAR – BIYAGAMA)
The Activewear Value Stream delivers high-performance sportswear and athleisure solutions designed for technical functionality, durability and everyday versatility— serving sports, lifestyle and performance segments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with suppliers to gather material details, track deliveries, and assist with the material ordering.
- Assist in sample Planning/ job card/ follow-up.
- Involve in sample material inventory control and trim cards management.
- Assist with heat-transfer testing management and execution.
- Assist in analyzing cost breakdowns and margins to ensure the data accuracy.
- Input product data into various databases and systems, mainly PLM & capacity plan.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Following or completed a degree or diploma in Business Management or Marketing.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good IT literacy.
