Merchandiser – Bulk

Looking for a dynamic individual to ensure raw materials are organized in line with planned requirements / manage stock levels to meet customer service requirements and minimum write-offs and ensure appropriate material allocation procedures are adhered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Ensure raw materials are available in the correct quantity, colour, and type as per the BOM.
• Follow up on material progress for different styles.
• Handle shortages, excess usage, and damaged materials by arranging replacements.
• Prepare and share accurate documents, including:
  • Purchase orders
  • Shipping details (correct quantities, timelines, cargo cut-off)
  • Packing lists (correct materials and information)
• Track and follow up on payments with suppliers and customers.
• Keep raw material progress updates accurate and timely for both the team and customers.
• Monitor supplier-related costs and liabilities to support profitability.
• Support supplier evaluation by providing performance data.
• Verify BOM consumption before placing orders to reduce waste and losses.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS 

• Completed degree in Business Management/Merchandising or Marketing
• CIM / CIMA qualification would be an added advantage
• 1-2 yrs experience in a Bulk merchandising
