The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Manager Projects to lead the Supply Chain Project Management Office (PMO) for our Consumer Foods sector. You will oversee strategic and operational initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and route-to-market.

Your mission is to ensure disciplined project execution that drives measurable value in cost efficiency, service agility, sustainability, and risk management within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Lead the execution of supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities, cost optimization, and service level targets.

  • Governance & Reporting: Implement structured PMO frameworks, including stage-gate processes, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets and expenditures in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure strict cost control and policy compliance.

  • Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement across logistics and warehousing to enhance productivity and operational agility.

  • Vendor & Procurement Support: Facilitate vendor selection (RFQs/RFPs), monitor supplier performance, and ensure contract compliance.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a central bridge between planning, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless project delivery and clear communication.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all project activities adhere to company safety standards, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements.

Person Specifications

Education & Experience:

  • BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (Postgraduate degree preferred).

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in FMCG or manufacturing supply chain.

  • 3–5 years of specific experience in PMO, program management, or cross-functional project leadership.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of End-to-End FMCG Supply Chain (Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, RTM).

  • Proficiency in ERP, APS, WMS, TMS, and data analytics platforms.

  • Knowledge of TQM, TPM, Food Safety Standards, and relevant Industrial/EHS legislation.
