Officer – Regional Operations (Vavuniya)

The Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving regional objectives in alignment with the company’s long-term business goals by providing essential support to regional sales teams and streamlining sales operations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Proposal Management: Register all proposals upon receipt of initial deposits and ensure all supporting documentation complies with company guidelines and procedures.

• Customer Connectivity: Enhance branch/regional engagement by maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer contact information.

• Financial Administration: Manage cash and cheque deposits, including renewal collections, daily banking, miscellaneous receipts, and salvage item management.

• Service & Claims Support: Address sales and customer inquiries regarding servicing and claims, providing accurate information and consistent follow-ups.

• Operational Liaison: Coordinate the dispatch of proposals and pending clearances to the Head Office and manage the receipt of policy documents.

• Workflow Monitoring: Actively track pending requirements in the workflow/new business modules and follow up with sales staff to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Ideally 2 years of experience in an administrative environment.

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree or professional qualification from a recognized university or institute.

• Skills: Sound knowledge of administrative processes and a basic understanding of the insurance industry.

• Technical Proficiency: Competency in the MS Office suite.

• Attributes: An ambitious, dynamic, and self-motivated personality with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure with minimal supervision.
