Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead payroll functions and comprehensive HR operations for a designated portfolio of clients. Your key duties include:

  • Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple platforms, manage off-cycle payments (bonuses, etc.), and ensure the timely settlement of all statutory dues.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic returns to regulatory bodies (ETF, PAYE, Stamp Duty, etc.) and maintain rigorous audit-ready documentation.

  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage the full employee journey, including seamless onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding processes.

  • Recruitment Support: Facilitate client recruitment by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and maintaining accurate hiring records.

  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor your team to achieve high performance, tracking key metrics to ensure all service delivery targets are met.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for client queries, building strong professional relationships and ensuring high service standards.

  • Process Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvement and support departmental growth by identifying new service opportunities.

Person Specifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or a recognized professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in HR, ideally with prior experience in an Assistant Manager or supervisory capacity.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.

  • Competencies: * Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).

    • The ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage strict SLAs and timelines.

    • A collaborative mindset with the ability to foster a positive team environment.
