The Role: Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement: Identify international requirements across relevant categories and variants, engaging with global manufacturers and consolidators.

• Supplier Management: Evaluate and vet international suppliers based on strict import criteria and negotiate favorable terms.

• Product Selection: Collaborate with Category Managers to select high-potential products and manage the sampling and testing process.

• Financial Alignment: Analyze product pricing and margins to ensure they meet category targets and contribute to monthly profitability.

• Operations & Logistics: Manage all pre-shipment documentation and workflows for direct imports.

• Reporting: Maintain the direct import dashboard and monitor high-risk items to minimize wastage.

The Profile: Requirements

• Education: A Degree in Logistics, International Trade, or International Business (completed or currently in progress).

• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.

• Core Skills: Outstanding communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities.

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.

• Industry Savvy: Familiarity with buying best practices, customs regulations, and the logistics sector.

• Tools: Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
