Lead Data Architect

Core Responsibilities

• Architectural Vision: Lead the design of data blueprints and define the technical roadmap to ensure our infrastructure supports seamless, high-performance analytics.

• Technical Translation: Partner with stakeholders to turn complex business needs into precise technical specifications for data pipelines, models, and visualizations.

• Platform Optimization: Collaborate with data engineering teams to modernize our platform—prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.

• Standards & Governance: Champion best practices by establishing coding standards, security protocols, and QA processes to maintain data integrity.

• Security & Privacy: Implement robust controls to protect sensitive information and ensure full compliance with global data regulations.

• Technological Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve with emerging tech—from cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) to advanced ML algorithms—to keep our capabilities competitive.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive real business value.

Entry Requirements

• Education: BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 6+ years designing and maintaining complex data solutions. Previous experience as a Data Architect or leading data engineering teams is highly preferred.

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in SQL, Python, Java, or Scala. Deep knowledge of data modeling, database architecture, and frameworks like Airflow, Spark, or EMR/Hadoop.

• Pipeline Mastery: Proven track record in designing large-scale ETL/ELT processes and managing both batch and real-time data lake pipelines.

• Cloud & Analytics: Solid experience with AWS, Azure, or Snowflake (certifications are a major plus). Hands-on familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

• Data Science Literacy: Practical experience applying machine learning algorithms within data-driven environments.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
