Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Access Network Operations team. In this role, you will strategically plan and execute maintenance strategies to ensure the high-quality, uninterrupted performance of our Radio Access Network (RAN) portfolio. You will lead network rollouts and drive service excellence by overseeing technical analysis, solution design, and the deployment of radio platforms and monitoring systems.

Your focus will include optimizing network configurations, forecasting tool requirements, and implementing best-in-class processes for sustainable growth. You will also champion network quality KPIs, automation, and alignment with Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS) to spearhead future technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Oversee service requests and incidents across 2G, 4G, 5G, Fixed Broadband (FBB), P2P, P2MP, and legacy systems.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex incidents within SLA and analyze fault trends to drive continuous service improvement.

• Impact Analysis: Assess network health using EMS alarms, traffic patterns, and logs to ensure rapid service restoration.

• Solution Integration: Lead cross-functional implementation to ensure new solutions integrate seamlessly with monitoring and maintenance workflows.

• Strategy & Deployment: Operationalize provisioning strategies for new features and evaluate technical specifications for new releases.

• Testing & Quality: Design verification procedures for network modifications to protect existing service stability.

• Knowledge Leadership: Maintain system manuals, update the operational knowledge repository, and deliver technical training to enhance staff competency.

• Data & Analytics: Develop data analysis methodologies and algorithms to transform raw network data into actionable business insights.

The Person

• Education: B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) degree (IESL accredited) or equivalent.

• Experience: 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in telecommunications.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of mobile/fixed broadband, server systems, IP networking, programming, data analytics, and AI.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
