Senior Manager – Civil Infrastructure (Telecommunications)

The Role

Operational Oversight: Manage end-to-end civil infrastructure operations, ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of network towers and assets through routine inspections and proactive maintenance.
Infrastructure Innovation: Plan and execute MTU maintenance while integrating new technologies, designs, and materials to boost operational efficiency and performance.
Project Leadership: Lead specialized civil projects, delivering technical solutions that align with structural standards, budgets, and timelines while ensuring high-quality vendor output.
Governance & Asset Management: Direct contract management, budget tracking, and PO/GR processing. Oversee the full material lifecycle, including inventory closure and the segregation of reusable versus scrap assets.
Design Verification: Review and certify structural designs for new towers and upgrades, ensuring safety, longevity, and compliance with regulatory (TRC) requirements.
Strategic Engineering: Provide cost-effective, innovative engineering solutions for Core site development and maintain rigorous records of excess and reusable materials.
Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate the engineering team to foster high performance, collaboration, and continuous operational improvement.

Education: Degree in Civil Engineering.
Certifications: PMP or equivalent professional qualification; Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is a distinct advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in telecommunications infrastructure development.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in steel infrastructure development, civil design, and structural requirements within telecom environments.
Operational Flexibility: Willingness to travel island-wide and the ability to work comfortably at heights.
