The Role: QA Engineer – Automation

We are seeking a proactive QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our growing team in Sri Lanka. In this hands-on role, you will safeguard the quality of our core Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform. Working alongside architects and product owners, you will utilize Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java to ensure our complex healthcare applications meet both functional and non-functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Draft comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases.

  • Agile Execution: Estimate and coordinate testing activities within cross-functional SCRUM teams.

  • Automation Development: Design and execute robust UI and API automation scripts.

  • Collaborative Insight: Offer quality-focused feedback on upcoming features and product requirements.

  • Quality Oversight: Maintain high quality-control standards across multiple project teams.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest testing tools, strategies, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven success in software testing or QA.

  • Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and API testing (e.g., Rest Assured).

  • Workflow Knowledge: Experience driving quality improvements within an Agile framework and familiarity with version control (Git).

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Scripting: Demonstrated ability in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
