Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager – QA to join our team in Katana. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding rigorous quality standards across our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products consistently meet both internal specifications and international export requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Compliance & Certification: Maintain and implement key certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, SEDEX/SMETA, FSC, and SA 8000.

• Quality Inspections: Oversee raw material verification (Rubber, PVC, Fiber, etc.), in-process checks, and final inspections. Ensure all data is accurately updated in the SAP system.

• Product Standards: Monitor critical quality parameters such as color consistency, pile height, density, and pattern accuracy.

• Problem Solving: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Audit Management: Conduct internal audits and facilitate external/3rd party audits and shipment inspections.

• Leadership: Supervise the QA team (Executives, Supervisors, and Inspectors) and conduct regular quality training for staff.

• Logistics & Documentation: Manage sample retention, 3rd party laboratory testing, and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, NDT, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering.

• Experience: 3–5 years of QA experience specifically within PVC, Rubber, or Coir carpet manufacturing.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and RCA tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys).

• Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of Management System Certifications and export standards for EU/US markets.

• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting abilities.
