Dipped Products PLC is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented professional to join our Head Office team in Colombo as a Junior Executive – Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely Management Information (MI) reports to drive effective business decisions.

• Cost & Profitability Analysis: Analyze product costing and customer profitability to identify cost-reduction opportunities and margin improvements.

• Financial Operations: Assist in managing month-end closing processes, ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Audit & Controls: Support annual stock-taking and conduct internal process audits to maintain rigorous inventory and operational controls.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor budget vs. actual performance, analyze variances, and support cross-departmental forecasting activities.

• Collaboration: Work alongside Production, Sales, and Finance teams to optimize operational performance.

• Tax Compliance: Manage VAT refund processes, ensuring timely submissions and recovery.

• Ad-hoc Support: Undertake additional financial duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.

Candidate Profile

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.

• Professional Qualification: Full or partial qualification in CA/CIMA is highly preferred.

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience within the manufacturing or export industry.

• Technical Skills: Exposure to SAP and knowledge of local tax regulations are distinct advantages.

• Soft Skills: A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in both team and independent settings.
