Software Quality Assurance Lead
Job Purpose
Oversee the planning and execution of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols. You will manage end-to-end testing methodologies to drive continuous process improvements and ensure software excellence across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Test Planning: Design and manage comprehensive test strategies—including Unit, Integration, Migration, Load, and Smoke testing—to ensure systems align with design specifications.

Documentation & Analysis: Analyze technical requirements to develop detailed test cases, ensuring full scope coverage and efficient resource utilization.

Execution & Maintenance: Lead the execution of test cases, maintaining rigorous records to ensure accuracy and integrity, specifically for customer care and billing systems.

Defect Management: Direct the tracking, reporting, and resolution of defects, ensuring user requirements are seamlessly integrated into the live system.

Automation & Environments: Create automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and manage the setup/maintenance of QA and development environments.

Deployment Support: Oversee pre-production deployments and source control verification; provide technical support to the DBA team during release cycles.

Leadership: Act as a mentor and lead for QA Engineers, driving the team toward divisional goals and maintaining the internal knowledge base.

Quality Administration: Manage Quality Center products and verify deployment processes to prevent system bottlenecks and ensure high-quality delivery.
The Person
-
Education: BSc in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in software testing and QA leadership.

Skills: Strong technical proficiency in automated and manual testing, excellent communication skills, and proven team management abilities.
