Dipped Products PLC is looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our Head Office team in Colombo as a Junior Executive – Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate Management Information (MI) reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Cost & Profitability Analysis: Analyze product costing and profitability to identify cost-reduction opportunities and margin improvements.

• Strategic Support: Assist with customer profitability analysis and support long-term strategic business decisions.

• Financial Closing: Support the month-end closing process, ensuring full compliance with relevant financial standards.

• Audit & Inventory: Assist in annual stock-taking and conduct internal process audits to maintain robust operational controls.

• Budgetary Control: Monitor budget vs. actual performance, highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.

• Forecasting: Support cross-departmental budgeting and financial forecasting activities.

• Collaboration: Work alongside Production, Sales, and Finance teams to optimize operational performance.

• Tax Compliance: Manage the VAT refund process, ensuring timely submissions and recoveries.

• General Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.

Candidate Profile

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.

• Professional Qualification: Full or partial qualification in CA or CIMA is highly advantageous.

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience within the manufacturing or export sectors.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and a solid understanding of current tax regulations are preferred.

• Competencies: A strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptability: Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
