Job Summary

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining the sourcing lifecycle, enhancing supplier performance, and driving cost-efficiencies. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing complex supply chain dynamics while fostering strong internal and external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Capability: Develop and execute procurement strategies to elevate supplier capabilities and overall performance.

• Delivery & Coordination: Ensure the seamless, on-time delivery of materials through proactive coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in material quality and procurement workflows to maximize efficiency.

• Backward Integration: Lead initiatives to strengthen internal production capabilities and minimize external dependencies.

• Cost Management: Optimize total supply chain costs without compromising on quality or service standards.

• Vendor Management: Identify, vet, and onboard reliable partners; negotiate contracts and maintain high-value supplier relationships.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor key procurement KPIs and provide actionable insights and reports to senior management.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to forecast demand and synchronize procurement schedules.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Experience: 5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of procurement processes, cost optimization, and vendor management techniques.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and leadership abilities.

• Systems: Proficiency with ERP systems and modern procurement software is highly desirable.
