Role: Associate / Senior Associate – Credit Controller

Executive Summary

MIT Global Solutions (Aster), a specialized BPO arm of the Hayleys Advantis Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller at the Associate or Senior Associate level. This role is central to maintaining healthy cash flow by managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, and supporting financial documentation for both local and international clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Collection Management: Monitor customer balances and proactively follow up on outstanding payments to minimize overdue debt.

• Financial Processing: Maintain accuracy in receipting and ensure the timely processing of credit notes.

• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of fundamental Accounts Receivable (AR) reports and regular status updates.

• Internal Coordination: Liaise with internal departments to resolve payment queries and streamline the collection process.

• Record Keeping: Ensure all financial documentation and communication logs are meticulously maintained.

• Customer Relations: Act as a point of contact for customers to resolve billing issues and facilitate smooth payment cycles.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Successful completion of GCE O/L (minimum 6 passes with a “C” in Mathematics) and A/L. A part-qualification in Credit Management is highly desirable.

• Experience: Ideally 1–2 years in a credit control or similar finance-related role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of ERP systems (such as SAP).

• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills in English and Sinhala; proficiency in Tamil is considered an advantage.

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative team mindset.
