District Manager – Field Sales

Location: Sri Lanka (Matale, Anuradhapura, Ampara, Monaragala, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala, Badulla, and Ratnapura)

The Role

The District Manager – Field Sales will lead and drive the performance of on-ground sales teams specializing in solar energy solutions. We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented leader who thrives in field environments, excels at team motivation, and consistently hits ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Manage and lead a team of Field Sales Executives across the assigned district.

• Strategy: Plan daily field activities, including door-to-door visits, site inspections, and lead generation campaigns.

• Performance: Monitor field metrics to ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.

• Mentorship: Conduct regular field visits to support, guide, and motivate the sales team in real-time.

• Growth: Identify new market opportunities and expansion areas within the district.

• Training: Coach team members on advanced sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.

• Engagement: Build strong customer relationships through direct interaction and on-site engagement.

• Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of field activities, leads, and conversions.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Proven track record in field sales management (Solar, Telecom, or FMCG preferred).

• Leadership: Strong team management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate local market dynamics.

• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the district and work directly on the ground.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with a passion for renewable energy.
