The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Executive – Cutting to drive transformation within our Pannala facility. In this role, you will bridge the gap between planning and production, monitoring all cutting department operations to ensure capacity is optimized and production targets are met with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Execution: Collaborate with IE and Management to execute daily and weekly cutting plans, ensuring the workflow meets production and embellishment demands.

• Technical Leadership: Develop Standard Technical Work (STW) with the PPA team and conduct training for Team and Group Leaders to ensure operational alignment.

• Operational Oversight: Lead pre-production meetings to brief the team on style-specific requirements, lay planning, marker preparation, and fabric handling.

• Quality & Efficiency: Monitor the cutting process to prevent quality deviations (such as fabric rejects or unapproved panels) and identify innovative methods to reduce material consumption.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with Planning, PCU, Stores, and Fabric Inspection teams to prioritize orders and maintain a continuous production flow.

• Team Management: Oversee administrative duties, including attendance and performance evaluations, while fostering a harmonious work environment compliant with 5S and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: A Degree in Engineering, preferably specializing in Textile and Clothing.

• Experience: Prior experience in a similar manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools and a strong analytical mindset.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication abilities to drive team performance.
