Executive – Production

Role Overview: Executive – Production (Linea Aqua)

This is a production management role based at Linea Aqua in Hanwella, part of the MAS Bodywear Value Stream. You will be responsible for overseeing production modules, managing resources, and ensuring that garment manufacturing meets quality standards and shipping deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: Prepare and implement daily/weekly production plans, monitor efficiency, and resolve operational issues to meet set targets.

• Line & Progress Management: Actively monitor work-in-progress (WIP) levels, track operator progress, and guide the team to ensure adherence to production schedules.

• Resource & Admin Management: Manage administrative tasks for assigned modules and oversee the human resources within those modules to facilitate smooth operations.

• Inventory & Reconciliation: Monitor accessory consumption, prepare reports, and ensure all balances are accounted for and shipped on time.

• Standards & Quality: Lead 5S standards, drive MOS (MAS Operating System) initiatives, and manage all QCO (Quick Changeover) related activities.

• Communication: Act as the bridge between management and the production floor, ensuring superior decisions are effectively implemented.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, specifically within the apparel industry.
