Merchandiser – Bulk (Procurement)

Location: MAS Intimates (Ratmalana), Sri Lanka

Role Overview

The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings is a global leader in design, innovation, and manufacturing for lingerie, swimwear, and performance bodywear. Serving iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, and Marks & Spencer, we operate a sophisticated supply chain spanning across Asia and Africa.

We are seeking a dynamic Merchandiser – Bulk to join our team in Ratmalana. In this role, you will bridge the gap between procurement and production, ensuring that raw materials and finished garments are delivered seamlessly and on schedule through expert negotiation and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Timeline Management: Monitor the customer calendar and collaborate with internal teams to ensure all production milestones are met.

• Critical Path Execution: Manage system-related tasks (e.g., booking forms) and maintain transparent communication with customers regarding orders and liabilities.

• Procurement & Inventory: Oversee raw material availability, maintain accurate inventory data, manage supplier payments, and lead price negotiations to build strong vendor partnerships.

• T&A Planning: Implement detailed Time & Action plans to streamline order management and keep all stakeholders updated on progress.

• Operational Control: Coordinate raw material arrivals, monitor stock levels, and minimize write-offs to support factory efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills

• Education: A degree in Marketing or Business Management (Final year students welcome), or professional qualifications such as CIM/CIMA.

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in merchandising or supply chain.

• Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate with diverse teams, including Technical, Textile, Sourcing, and Design departments.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong communication and relationship management skills; exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems is a significant advantage.
