Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), the manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams, is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

We are seeking an ideal candidate to fill the position of HRBP Managerial Level – New Projects (Consumer Foods Sector). This role provides both strategic and operational HR support to the Consumer Foods Sector, ensuring seamless alignment between our people strategy and business objectives. Partnering with multi-store operations, the successful candidate will strengthen leadership capabilities, drive a high-performance culture, manage employee relations, support workforce planning, and ensure strict compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws. Acting as the primary HR point of contact for Operations leadership, the HRBP enables business excellence through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of HR and Operations leadership to implement talent strategies aligned with business priorities.

  • Act as the primary HR advisor to operational management teams.

  • Support organizational design, manpower planning, and role clarity across operations/outlets.

  • Provide data-driven talent insights to support strategic business decision-making.

  • Implement and foster a performance-driven culture focused on service excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead people-related change initiatives linked to expansion, restructuring, or process improvements while ensuring compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.

  • Support overall business performance by systematically achieving key HR KPIs.

  • Develop a robust talent pipeline to support the concurrent growth of our people and the organization.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of overall HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an HRBP or Managerial HR role.

  • Experience in the retail, hospitality, or food service industry is highly preferred.

  • Experience in multi-store operations and pre-opening project phases will be a distinct advantage.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • An analytical, data-driven mindset.
